2026-2027 Research Assistants

The 2026-2027 Gerontology Research Assistants are back working on the National Gerontology Program Database.

Olivia Paysen and Trenton Ditter (pictured) continued working on the database this summer and will continue their efforts along with our other gerontology research assistants.

Thank you to Judy Haney and her late husband Terry Haney for their tremendous support of Gerontology Research assistants at UNL through the Terry Haney Chair of Gerontology.

Peter Murphy Lewis is in the House!

Professional Storyteller Peter Murphy Lewis is capturing the insights of students on the UNL campus about aging. Joining Peter with recruitment is Sami, Olivia, Marin, and Trenton. Be sure to follow “People Worth Caring About” docuseries for updates on this amazing project and the value of aging from the perspective of students and aging adults. There really is no place like Nebraska for studying gerontology.
