2026-2027 Research Assistants

The 2026-2027 Gerontology Research Assistants are back working on the National Gerontology Program Database.

Olivia Paysen and Trenton Ditter (pictured) continued working on the database this summer and will continue their efforts along with our other gerontology research assistants.

Thank you to Judy Haney and her late husband Terry Haney for their tremendous support of Gerontology Research assistants at UNL through the Terry Haney Chair of Gerontology.

Congratulations to Dr. Mollie George on successfully completing her doctoral program in gerontology.

Dr. George was supervised by Dr. Lindsay Wilkinson, Graduate Program Chair for the department.

Dr. George’s dissertation, titled Experiences of Senior Living Residents During the COVID-19 Pandemic, offers perspective on the positive and negative challenges of those residing in assisted and independent living communities. Her work highlights an understudied area of interest in relation to the experiences of older adults.
